I grew up in America.

I was born in the hood and moved to the suburbs

I would go back and visit my grandma on Saturdays

and there, I got the feeling of being a "white kid" surrounded by those that looked different.

though at school, there were children of nearly every origin.

The district, was one of the first in the nation to let "black kids" go to school.

& I had a warped understanding of culture in America, since I did grow up in a melting pot, so to speak.

It's weird, whether it's imposed on them, or out of preference, many groups in the country, tend to live exclusively with their same group of people.

These people might tend to carry on the "old culture", their diet etc. and interact almost exclusively with people of their same group.

Though once in a while, someone maybe takes interest in a culture and become an honorary member..

In the ghetto this is known as a hood pass.. Given out to those that do not disrupt their way of life..

Now since I was a youth, I've been an avid reader..

I listened to a good deal of music by the finest minds I could find

& hoped to partake in the creation of music and or literature with lessons that might even transcend time.

When Eminem came out, I was excited, because I was never a Beasty Boys fan

Mind you, I can't sing and here was this Zaney kid who had his own style who was not only rapping, his music was being well received as unique, creative and funny.

The real slim shady was a tough kid out of Detroit. The new Slim shady is a skinny test tube clone. Who had the nerve to call himself a rap god, when he was only given a pass in the 1st place.

I don't blame him, I hear that clones are born with the memories of the original, so thus he even thinks that he is being himself.. When instead he is just a tool of the media to propagate their garbage.. Bunch of ignorant trash, wanting to be like him: killing whores in the name of population control.

That's what I've got from it, I haven't gone and listened to him since When I'm Gone...

I just feel it's important to note, that rap was made as a counter culture... & I understand the frustration of people who made their own thing, just to see the main culture try to take it for themselves...

I remember seeing the contradictions like going to a club and some people were turned away for wearing ball caps or something of that nature.. All the while the venue was exclusively playing music that was of a hip hop nature.

I don't expect people to get out of their comfort zones... If they don't like interacting with people who look different then them or even act diff.. I would not expect them to be pressured into doing so.

I'm just saying, there should be a place where the ideals of America are realized. Sure we have people of all nationalities living together but also separately, I'm not talking separate but equal. I mean just a bunch of like minded individuals, living amongst one another without even taking race into consideration.

Especially since the other option is: continuing the prostitution, & killing in the name of population control, while the people who have profited off our pain and suffering during this pandemic get to enjoy themselves.
