minimal: One excavator, some shovels

a small sawmill dig a basement home pour concrete in between wood for walls

basic wood framework, drywall, couple of windows, flooring, full restroom

Flat tin roof with a runoff drain, maybe at 1st there could be communal bathrooms and shower

to cut costs, though one might argue for about $100 more... Wouldn't it be so much better if people didn't have to share that, it's kind of a private thing..

For the first round of the 500 people who live there 4 have to do the prep work and cooking for each meal.

So only 1 large kitchen is necessary.

The people can even vote and decide what's on the menu

So in the first stages, a home doesn't need it's own kitchen

especially when it takes little more time to cook for a hundred people

as it does for 2-5 and trying to utilize the saving involved in buying bulk.

Theory:

Not everything is for profit..

Fast food is an example of cost efficiency.

Since they buy in large quantities, they can offer you a cheeseburger for $5

Though the manufacturer makes a profit off the purchaser, it's shipped to the distributor and then has to make it's way to the franchise

the company makes a profit off the franchisee and then the franchisee makes a profit off of the customer

The idea is: If you eliminated all those middle men, people could eat for pennies on the dollar..

People shouldn't be profiting on necessities like health care & food.

It is almost inhumane to do so

.

so if the manufacturers of the product could get it straight to the consumer, without having to pay for freight or the middle men food would cost pennies on the dollar and wouldn't even been necessary to charge people

all inclusive lifestyle Cows just eat grass, and they'll keep breeding....

and will provide milk and hundreds of pounds of meat, pretty much for free.

This is a revolution, much like the agricultural one.. For intents sake...

If people didn't have to spend their time and effort paying rent

They could have time to conversate just for the sakes of figuring things out

work on art and hopefully produce writing and movies and music

Since the homes are small, it'd be a place to sleep and have some alone time, for the most part

people would be encouraged to participate in communal events, activities, work shops, think tanks etc.

eventually once it gets in the swing of things... People could spend some of their free time

working on places they could go to chill, open air plazas and buildings with terraces and balconies and gardens.

the idea to make these places so nice that tourists can pay to visit and may end up staying to promote the community further.

To get people excited about democracy and to pay for water, taxes and to raise money for improvements..

500 people could work on producing a weekly show.. Kind of like reality tv though it would be a deliberate attempt at entertainment

And also tracking the progress of the colony.

Once everyone's portion is done people could vote on what they want to keep and the extras could be saved

for later use. The colony could charge advertising via it's own streaming service and the profits would go to buying and making more machinery

and more homes and controlling more of every aspect of life... Closer to becoming self sustainable and having to buy as little as possible from outside sources.

this experiment is intended to create a large family atmosphere where people can freely be social

and sexual without fear of disease because any carriers of diseases are isolated and before coming, everyone is tested beforehand

so there's 0% risk of contracting std's no need for procreation this is pro creation

as people work to find meaningful interactions in their lives with neighbors that they choose

and care about.

better tomorrow for the next generation of kids.
