though I was in Vegas, where drinking, gambling and prostitution run rampant
and felt that for the most part it, weed was still looked down upon.
There was a time when people shunned drinkers (prohibition)
and some still do yet an every day drinker might look upon a smoker negatively
well if someone is sick they should be able to smoke
It's partially all the fags who cried that it was their medicine...
got a card for sleepiness
it's like this
you sleep with a fan on
get used to having a fan on while you sleep
it's not that it helps with the sleep process it's just what you're used to
Now with CBD, there's this weird phenomenon that you should feel bad about something that makes you feel good.
Our body is a complex system that rewards you for doing good things like getting proper sleep.. I feel rested and refreshed.
Good nutrition, Eating protein, man that steak was delicious,,
and hurting you when you do bad stuff.. I put my hand in the fire and now it hurts
Too much of anything can be bad... If you drink alcohol or smoke weed it dehydrates you so one should act according..
There are trade offs especially with withdrawal.
If your body gets accustomed to something and you take it away it can provide
difficulties in the long term.
That's why I try to tell anyone who starts smoking that if you proceed to do so there will probably be a
time that it will become norm for you.
However I insist that a healthy balance includes going through most the day without it...
Just like a functioning drinker has 2 or 3 beers after work. This can form a challenge to anyone, to partake without overdoing it.. However it's the
same with food.. You wouldn't make hamburgers illegal just because someone eats 5 a day, doesn't exercise and ends up getting heart disease..
The other day I went for a 40 mile bike ride
I had been avoiding caffeine and had been drinking the bare minimum for me: a little soda and weak coffee here and there
I started off with half of an energy drink and there's a lot of people who already would start off angry at me
Oh those energy drinks aren't good for you, well they make me feel good and I certainly could not have got through the trip
without some kind of caffeine.. Less people would be angry that I used coffee
Now I don't like to be dependent on anything and I probably could get through a 40 mile bike ride without any caffeine.
have taught myself to work ok without it through various fasts including lent twice.. Though it would be a painstaking process
whereas a well caffeinated & high me would certainly do it in better time and would even enjoy the event.
. I started using energy drinks when I switched to the night shift..
Now it's tough for me to get into my groove at work without them.
So I had a half of an energy drink poured into my water bottle
I took to the 1st leg of my race, made it to the bike path went an estimated 6 miles total and had 2 hits of high grade weed
drank the rest of the caffeine at about 30 miles and hit the weed 2 more times..
I'm certain I'm not the only one who likes such a routine when they exercise.
I am sure that some people will not find it helpful, I don't expect them to use it
just want a place where it's ok for me to utilize it.
traditionally the hood or slums was such a place
